Small Steps is proud to be included in the British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspection process. The recent BSO inspection across all GEMS Education schools included GEMS Founders School – Dubai South, where the report highlighted the positive impact of the Small Steps provision:

“Pupils in this school feel safe and are very well cared for. They are happy to come to school and integrate well with each other. There are a number of pupils with SEND and the respectful culture, supported by the very effective work in the ‘Small Steps’ provision, ensures these pupils are fully involved. This is an inclusive and happy school.”

“One parent described his child, who has SEND, as one who previously resisted going into school. Now he attends GFD he jumps up, switches off the TV and goes in happily. Many children have joined outside of the usual admission cycle and their parents appreciate the care and flexibility shown by the teachers who ensure they settle quickly and soon become part of the school community. Parents of children in the ‘Small Steps’ provision appreciate how well their children are supported and cared for and praised the daily communication they receive.”This recognition reflects Small Steps’ ongoing dedication to delivering high-quality early intervention, fostering inclusion, and supporting every child’s growth in partnership with families and therapists.
